  Email Problems
"How come I'm not receiving email from USAPA?"

There are several issues at play here - first, it's possible that we do have your address but USAPA email is being incorrectly identified by your mail provider as SPAM and is blocking it at the server level. This is an unfortunate byproduct of many of the free email providers such as Yahoo!, Hotmail, etc. (Yahoo! is particularly bad about this and we have, just in the last few days, noticed a dramatic increase in the number of emails being returned from Yahoo!, Hotmail and AOL addresses so it appears these ISPs may be arbitrarily blocking USAPA email. You, as the user, will have to contact your provider for instructions.) Second, some of the handwriting was so poor on the Authorization Cards it is possible that those entering the data may not have been able to read your email address and entered it incorrectly. Finally, many of you have changed your email address since submitting a card, and we no longer have a correct address. Please contact us to update/correct your email address so you don't miss out on important USAPA communications.

In most cases, the workaround for the blocked email problem is to add us to your address book. Please add Info@USAIrlinePilots.org, Communications@USAirlinePilots.org and Records@USAirlinePilots.org to your address book, as these are the addresses we are currently using for mass mailing and routine correspondence. You can also try sending a test email (to which we will reply) to Communications@USAirlinePilots.org; sometimes the act of sending to an address will clear it from the SPAM folder. We also suggest that you contact your provider and ask them for the steps you should take to ensure legitimate mail is delivered. Another alternative, should none of these work, is to create a new address at a different provider, and use that new address for USAPA email.

Bottom line, if you have submitted a card, you should be getting USAPA email. If not, please drop us a note at Info@USAirlinePilots.org so that we may look into it.

Thanks for your patience as we build a better union for you.
